Coin Museum Nashik

Established in the year 1980 under the Institute of Research in Numismatic Studies, Coin Museum of Nasik, one of its kind in India, gives tourists a glimpse of Indian currency evolution over years. In the museum, one can see exhibits like molds, dyes, replicas, and photographs of coins since the ancient time. Also, the museum has a unique assemblage of machines that are used for casting and striking; tableaus depicting coin minting and coin manufacturing; numismatic material, and bronze, terracotta, copper-hoard objects, and paintings.

GETTING THERE

The museum is located on National Highway No 848 but reaching here is not a problem as the buses and taxis are easily available from anywhere in the city.

9:30 AM to 1:00 PM and 2:00 PM to 5.30 PM
